Tanya joined the firm in August 2011 having worked for the Court service for the previous 3 years, and works as a paralegal in the care team in the Plymouth office.
She supports the lawyers in dealing with sensitive issues where Social Services are involved with families. This includes working with parents and with Children’s Guardians.
In her free time, Tanya loves to be outdoors walking along the beautiful Devon coastline or exploring the moors; or enjoying some peace and quiet out at sea kayaking.
Her work includes:
- Assisting the Care Team lawyers with various types of care cases including being the first point of contact for parents;
- Supporting the Care Team with complex Children’s Guardian cases;
- Attending with parents at pre-proceedings meetings.
- Sitting behind Counsel during Court hearings to support parents who may need that extra bit of guidance.
