Thomas joined The Family Law Company in 2024 as a children law solicitor. He supports clients through all aspects of family law but with a particular specialism in disputes involving children.
Before joining the Family Law Company, Thomas trained in criminal, civil, and family law, having gained experience at Citizen Advice and other local firms.
Thomas attended the University of Liverpool where he studied Law with Philosophy and achieved a 2:1 with Honours LLB Law Degree. Following this, he studied the Bar at the University of Law Leeds, where he received his Masters in Law and was called to the Bar at Middle Temple in London. During the COVID pandemic, Thomas went on to complete the Legal Practice Course alongside his practical solicitor training and was awarded a distinction in his Postgraduate Diploma in Law.
Outside of work, Thomas enjoys spending time with his family and friends, curling up with a good book, and can often be found exploring the coasts and countryside of South Devon.
His work includes:
• Disputes regarding children contact and arrangements for their care following relationship breakdowns
• Concerns around parental alienation
• Cases where domestic abuse has been alleged that may need fact finding hearings and/or orders for protection.
• Relocation of children and their families.
