Don’t panic – remember they have a job to do. It is important you establish as early as possible with them what their concerns are. Keep notes of any meetings and call us as soon as possible. Even if Social Services visit, this does not necessarily mean they will become involved in the family. However, if they have real concerns you will be invited to a formal session called a PLO meeting. If this happens, one of our solicitors can accompany you to support you through the process.
