The Family Law Company has been shortlisted for a prestigious Law Society Award, the highest accolade for law firms in England and Wales.
The firm, which has offices in Exeter and Plymouth plus a new provision in Cornwall, is a finalist in the Excellence in Practice Management category.
Director Rachel Buckley said: “We are extremely proud to be shortlisted in these national awards, especially after a year like no other.
“As the largest family law specialist in the region we believe we have stepped up to the mark to meet head on the increase in cases during the pandemic and changes to ways of working.
“Over the last 16 months practice management has been a critical element in our response to the pandemic, leading to strategic recruitment including a new Head of Marketing and Head of HR, commitment to staff wellbeing, a new internal comms strategy and improvements to our client journey,
“Within this remit we provided free information for families impacted by contact or separation concerns during the pandemic and continued our dedication to legal aid clients by bringing on the next generation of legal aid lawyers.”

Winners will be announced in an online ceremony on 7 October.
