For the second year in a row, Rachel Buckley from The Family Law Company has been included on the prestigious Spear’s index as one of the best family lawyers for high net worth clients.
In addition, she is highlighted in the ‘recommended’ list as one of the notable names for her expertise in this area of family law.
Rachel, who is Joint Managing Director and head of The Family Law Company’s Divorce and Finance Team, provides expert advice for high net worth clients across the UK, including business owners, sports professionals and landowners, as well as high ranking members of the armed forces, police and fire service.
High net worth cases are often extremely complicated to unravel and require an incisive approach, and Rachel’s cases often involve complex pension assets, trust implications, business interests and substantial incomes.
Spear’s Review of Rachel refers to her problem-solving approach for matters relating to the financial aspects of relationship breakdown, particularly separation agreements, plus her experience drawing up prenuptial agreements, helping many clients through the process of organising assets and liabilities before a marriage.
It also refers to her exceptional leadership in shaping The Family Law Company’s impressive commitment to client experience and inclusivity; her understanding and trauma-led approach, which is ingrained in the company’s ethos, is invaluable to those clients who have experienced domestic abuse.
In addition to Spear’s, Rachel’s expertise has been recognised in the CityWealth Leaders List, an international guide to the most recognised and highly regarded figures in private wealth management.
Of her inclusion on the Spear’s index, Rachel said: “I’m delighted to again be named on this prestigious list. High net worth cases can be challenging, but there’s a real satisfaction from achieving the best possible result for a client who I know will then be able to confidently move forward with their life.”
The annual Spear’s index is based on peer nominations, client feedback, telephone and face-to-face interviews and data supplied by firms, and takes into account factors including an adviser’s standing, reputation, client base, recommendations and testimonials, the firm they represent, their level of engagement with the process and certain industry-specific criteria.
