A mother was in a car accident five days before Christmas and had been taken to hospital. Her former partner, whom the children had not seen for over eight months, had taken the children who were just aged two and four and had never been away from their mum.
When the mother came out of hospital on December 23rd, the father refused to return the children to her. The mother contacted us, and we made an emergency application to the Court to have the children returned to her care. This order was granted.
Fortunately, the mother and father then negotiated and contact arrangements were set in place. Now the children have regular quality contact with their dad.
