Not necessarily – there are other alternatives that we can discuss with you. These include mediation and solicitor-based negotiation. The Court requires parties to try and resolve such disputes without becoming involved. Only in specific circumstances such as where there are serious allegations of abuse will the Court take the view that other alternatives are not appropriate.
