Emma is an empathic and pragmatic paralegal specialising in Divorce and Finances with a small element of Children work. She works closely with Rachel Buckley, Joint Managing Director on complex divorce and financial issues. Emma takes pride in her attention to detail and is praised for her ability to find the ‘needle in a haystack’.
Following her fervour for law Emma is studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) law degree with the Open University.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and undertaking various other self-improvement activities.
Her work includes:
1: Supporting and assisting the head of the divorce and finances department and Joint Managing-Director with high-net-worth clients.
2: Investigating and collating information in cases where the opponent may be seeking to hide assets.
3: Drafting documents and collating court papers.
4: Assisting clients in collating their paperwork and keeping clients up to date on the progress of their cases.
5: A member of multiple internal teams such as Legal Aid, Wellbeing and IT to ensure that the firm is at the cutting edge of the latest developments to benefit clients and their cases.
6: Arranging and co-ordinating internal department meetings.
