Lisa joined The Family Law Company in June 2024, as an experienced family law solicitor qualified in Ontario, Canada.
Lisa is born and raised in Canada. She pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and Anthropology at McMaster University before going on to achieve a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration from Ryerson University.
Lisa moved to England to attain a law degree from Exeter University, which she completed in 2015. Lisa then returned to Ontario, Canada in 2017 and was called to the Ontario Bar as a barrister and solicitor in January 2020. Once qualified, Lisa chose to specialise in all areas of family law although she has working experience in personal injury law and Will drafting. Lisa returned to the Plymouth area in September 2021.
Lisa prides herself on aiming to help clients who are experiencing a difficult time in their lives by navigating the legal system.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and trying out new recipes.
Lisa’s practice includes all aspects of family law and she has chosen to specialise in private children law, domestic violence and injunction proceedings (to include non-molestation Orders and Occupation Orders).
Lisa’s experience of representing clients in Canada saw her to become experienced advocate. She will regularly attend Court to represent her clients to achieve the best outcome.
